The Joy of Greenery
At Khushiyon Ka Ghar, the day began with art, laughter, and hands dipped in paint. We repurposed plastic bottles into colorful planters, cutting, shaping, and finger-painting them alongside the residents. Each brushstroke carried joy, and every decorated bottle became a canvas of expression. The elderly shared garden memories from their youth, turning a simple craft session into a vibrant exchange of stories, smiles, and shared creativity that lit up the room.
Once the planters were ready, we gently placed saplings into them together. That quiet act of planting became a shared moment of care and promise. With each green sprout nestled into soil, we weren’t just growing plants — we were nurturing hope, connection, and joy. The residents beamed with pride, knowing their touch would continue to bloom. At Khushiyon Ka Ghar, we left not only planters behind, but something deeper: the roots of lasting companionship.
